FlowQuota - Terms of Use

Welcome to FlowQuota.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") explain how you can use FlowQuota. By using FlowQuota, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What FlowQuota Is
FlowQuota is a productivity tool that helps you track time, manage focus, and understand how you spend your working hours.
- The Core plan provides a focus timer, history, reporting and related productivity tools.
- The AI plan includes Core features plus AI Briefings and related AI insight features.
- Pro AI remains Coming Soon and is not yet purchasable.
We may improve, modify or remove features over time.
2. Who Can Use FlowQuota
- You must be at least 13 years old
- You must use the service legally
- You must provide accurate account information
- You must keep your login details secure
You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Plans, Trials and Subscriptions
- Core and AI are live paid plans.
- AI is a paid tier with AI Briefings.
- Free trials are provided through FlowQuota invite or trial access where offered.
- Trial, complimentary or invite-based access may expire or be changed.
- Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe.
- Subscription changes, cancellation and billing management may be handled through the Stripe billing portal.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
- No partial refunds are provided unless required by law.
If payment fails, we may suspend your account or reduce access to paid features.
4. AI Briefings
AI Briefings are generated productivity summaries for eligible AI-tier users. They depend on enough focus-session data being available, so briefings may not be generated every week if there is insufficient activity.
AI Briefings may include pattern summaries, time-of-day guidance, risk signals and suggested adjustments. Generated insights depend on the quality and consistency of user-entered data.
AI Briefings are generated using AI and may be imperfect, incomplete, inaccurate or not suitable for every situation. You remain responsible for how you interpret and act on AI-generated suggestions.
5. No Professional Advice
FlowQuota and AI Briefings provide productivity support only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, employment or professional advice.
You should not rely on FlowQuota as the sole basis for important decisions.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Break any laws
- Hack or reverse engineer the software
- Overload or interfere with the service
- Use bots to abuse the system
7. Your Data
Your productivity data belongs to you.
- We store your data so the app works
- We use reasonable security measures
- We do not sell your personal data
We may use anonymous aggregated data to improve the service.
8. Service Availability and Limitations
- No guarantee of 100% uptime
- Maintenance may occur
- Features may change
- AI Briefings, notifications and third-party services may occasionally be delayed, unavailable or fail
- FlowQuota may improve, change or discontinue beta or AI features
FlowQuota is provided "as is."
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, FlowQuota is not responsible for:
- Lost data
- Lost profits
- Indirect damages
- Decisions made based on generated productivity suggestions
Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your account anytime.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Intellectual Property
FlowQuota's software, branding and design belong to us.
You may not copy, resell or repackage the service.
12. Aggregated Data Rights
While your personal productivity data belongs to you, FlowQuota may create anonymised, aggregated datasets derived from platform usage.
These datasets combine information from many users and remove all personal identifiers. They may be used to:
- Improve the FlowQuota product
- Develop productivity insights
- Publish research or reports about work patterns and focus behaviour
- Support marketing or educational content
These aggregated datasets never identify individual users and cannot be used to reconstruct personal productivity histories.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
